Intersession was so much fun. After being home for a couple of days, I came back to campus to enjoy Vericon with Kareem. It was great. I posted pictures of the cosplay chess event on Facebook, so check those out if you want. I must say - the Death Note cosplayers were awesome. Raito was SO hot. And he and "Misa" were actually dating too, so that was amusing. For the Masquerade, I had been planning on dressing up as a Japanese schoolgirl anyway, and since Kareem wanted me to plan him a costume, which went with mine, I said he ought to be a drunken Japanese salaryman. It was awesome. He emptied out a dark, opaque root beer bottle and taped on a piece of paper on which he had written, "SAKE...DAZO." As the night progressed, his tie became looser and looser, until it eventually came off and then was retied around his head. There were several, well-placed, very conspicuous lipstick marks on his undershirt, and his shirt buttons were mismatched. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos, but rest assured that it was awesome. And Kareem and Alessandro had an awesome conversation in which Kareem introduced me as his underaged girlfriend and in which there was a lot of loud, "drunken" yelling. Teehee.
We slept in on Sunday morning, even though I had planned on going to Mystery Science Theater 3000, for which Jason had written a caustic commentary to be delivered simultaneously with the showing of The Da Vinci Code. Since it was scheduled for 10am, we woke up at 9:30am, realized it was 9:30am, and went back to sleep until we woke up again at 1pm. Brianne was gone for all of intersession, so we slept in my room for just about all of it. Huzzah for t3h awesome sofabed!
Alessandro, I'm sorry for unnecessarily complaining in my last entry. I'll give you head, and you absolutely have my permission to press/slap/tap/hit my taunt button. Party...XD Disregard anything Kareem says; we totally need to talk to each other more often. Mmhmm, indeed, quite, rather.
Shopping week has been really fun, minus the math problem set...RAWR. Still need to figure that out. I have two meetings this evening - one for EcChal and one for club tennis. Then, it's crunch time: math p.set and reading for my seminar. Work starts next Monday; I just had "training" for it yesterday. Woohoo...
I may update later tonight, if I need to take a break from "crunch time," but that's all for now! =)
