Neither. Marines are the lowest paying of em all, Army is a waste of time. Navy isn't bad. If you don't like the Airforce, go Navy. Otherwise, go airforce.
Here's why: -Most marketable job skills for when you leave -Best pay -Best working conditions both environment and people. -you don't have to deal with as many assanine Jarheads :)
I'd highly recommend trying out for OTS. If you have a possibility to get into it, no matter what branch, do it! Its the biggest regret enlisted have when all is said and done, "I wish i had decided to go officer"
When it comes to that i don't want to take the Navy or Marines as something i want to do rght away. I preffer to see how my collage thing goes and if i think that college isn't for me, i want to take that as an option i have open. We took a practive test on the ASVAB and i did pretty good. I need to focus on like two math things and I'll do awsome on the real test. As a senior in High School next year i'll have to take it, so if i take it now it's good for two years, and if i retake it at school, they'll take my highest scores. So yeah.
It's not my first choice...voeu_casseJune 26 2005, 08:20:30 UTC
I was just getting some background of the Navy and Marines just to see if that's what i want to do after high school or if i want to go to college. The Marines aren't that bad, but training is in North Carolina ( :S ) and guys are there in the camp training so that bothers me a bit. Either than that i like it, but it's not my first option. I have a collages that i would like to go to. If after a while i work to get into these colleges and i don't get in then i'll go ahead and go into the Navy. Marines don't have a Nursing/Heath program or anything like that...THAT SUCKS :(

Ok. Enough screwing around. What kind of job skill are you interested in the Navy?
