So.....I've got this blotch in the center of my left eye's vision. No. It is not a floater. See, floaters, well...they float. around. This doesn't. It just sits there looking vaguely like Italy in brown. Right smack in the middle of my left eye focus field. Extremely annoying and really noticeable when using a computer. Which I do for about 12

...I hope you will take me absolutely seriously when I tell you not (under any circumstances) expect to do anything (except sit and be amused) the day you get your new progressives. the world does the most appaling and amazing things while your brain tries to figure out what you are doing to it. I got it under control in one day but there for the first three or so hours, it was dicey if I was going to keep my lunch.

when I started reading I thought it was an optical migraine. sorry it wasn't now, it would be all gone and just a nasty memory by now.

oh, and just to prove they are all crazy in that field. this is your friend who does not have an astigmatism. the one who has to go back each time she gets new glasses and have them remove the correction for the astigmatism that she DOES NOT HAVE so she can see through the new lenses.
