It seems the media and major polls are ignoring an underlying question that is playing a large role in one's complete rejection or skepticism or acceptance on the general idea that there is Climate Change and GW.

There have been more than a few locals that I've engaged with that don't believe in Climate Change directly because the think the Earth is several thousand years old, and fossils of warm weather plants in Greenland, and things of that nature are cited that the Earth was a lot warming not long ago.

The fact sets that one ascribes to on some fundamental issues, will lead them to accept or deny claims based on different underlying assumptions. It is important on this issue that people are aware of often overlooked fact sets that people ascribe to.

How old do you think the earth is?(poll)
