oh boy that's a heavy message. can this passage be applied to other countries?
certainly, america is unique, but some of the ideas can be brought across. revival is the same no matter what country you're in (and it's not just an evangelical or even protestant thing, as people might think...).

could the UK just be seen as an older version of the USA? hmm certainly not in some ways...(politically, ideologically, economically,...) but could the religious degradation of the UK also occur in the US? i think i'm probably naive, but there's nothing wrong suggesting it.

It can certainly be a word for the UK, if the Lord is pulling on your heart than it may very well be for whoever. Plus, when one part of the body is blessed all parts are blessed.
