lol When I saw the movie with Goodrich and a whole group of people they all thought it was real and the scene that they showed in the end was actual footage, but no, it's not a true story and that's not real footage. From my understanding it's BASED reeeeally loosely on some murderer who did weird things like that to his victims, but it wasn't even in Texas. :P I'm pretty sure they just use the "Based on actual events" to attract attention. When I found all of this out Goodrich was pissed 'cause he thought it was real, haha.

yeah, i know that the movie was extremely drawn out and stuff... but i thought there was something similar that went on back in the 70's in a little country town in texas...that's just what i heard. i guess it's controversal? *sigh* my dad told me that they left up that house they used in the movie and you can stay the night in it, have dinner and stuff....ew.

Yea i think it was something in a "little" town in Texas that happened along time ago kinda what you said and a little bit of what stu said but im pretty sure that it was some dragged out thing in the movies...nothing to worry about.
