Also, I really liked the way you described Edmund's feelings towards Jadis, because that's almost exactly how I imagine him feeling, so, yeah. That bit was fantastic!!
Also, you know. Ahem. Smut is never out of place, is it? Besides, you already have such a fantastic buildup. Regardless, I think the story works very well without it, and leaving it on such a suggestive note is nice. But what I'm trying to say is; it works fine either way, but it wouldn't hurt to have some sexytiems!! (Am I confusing you as much as I'm confusing myself with this comment?)
All in all; brilliant story!!

Actually, I've always wanted to try/read something like that, where they actually end up sailing home to Narnia. It would be an interesting sequence to see how things go and how the relationships progress [taking into account Liliandell] as well as finding a different way for the Pevensies+Eustace to go back [because they have to, obviously]. Hmm.
