Oh, absolutely. We're definitely a collie household. I'm loving that high energy thang at the moment, but I'm going back to uni next month, so it's my parents I have to feel bad for, because they're the ones stuck trying to wear her out long after it stops being fun. heh.
Heee! Your new puppy is ADORABLE! And yes, wow, gangly and with a looooong tail, but that somehow makes her more loveable. And what beautiful eyes she has! It's unusual to see eyes that colour in a collie, isn't it? She must definitely be a mixed breed. That one shot (with the flowers) almost makes her look like a husky, since her eyes look icy-blue. But that's probably the light, right?
Also? MUCH icon love. Every time one of us screws up at home, my boyfriend and I turn and say to each other, "We can NEVER go back to Arizona!"
You know, I'm tempted to use the word 'adorkable' and I've never used that outside of a fandom context before. She's just so... without a scrap of grace. It's too cute.
Yeah, that is just the light in that second pic. Kind of a shame, though. She could have the 'Eyes of a Different Colour'! I was assured by some random woman in the park today that her eyes are fairly common in collies. All I can say is, in my twenty years of living with and around that breed, I've never seen eyes quite like hers. Guess I just have freaky luck.
And: ha! I'm constantly using the quote, and hardly ANYONE gets it. SIGH.
