It's not going to be a pretty place to be, I don't imagine. Not that it ever really is.

WOOT for Doctor Who winning, but I can't get excited now that Freema lost - even if David was sweet enough to get her to talk a bit.

God, she looks so fricking gorgeous this evening!

David and Freema accepted the award for Doctor Who winning Most Popular Drama, he got her to talk then.

He also bigged her up in his winning speech for Most Popular Actor, which he completely deserved ... I'm just bitter it's not 3 for 3, I guess.

Well done David and Who. Thhhppppppttttt to Lacey from Eastenders.

And I had a sneaking feeling Freema wouldn't win, too. Mainly because if her own fandom can't get fully behind her, what real hope did she have?

Currently head-desking at the resident troll trying to call someone out over 'being mean' when every other post of their's is passive-agressive insults flung at various parts of LJ fandom. Yeesh.

I was expecting the usual suspects, yeah. Thankfully I see about 30% of what they actually say, thanks to people quoting them in their posts.

I'd just LOVE it if the Martha haters could just shut up and not say anything ... sadly it's not going to happen. I'm just glad people like you are there to be the voice of sanity now and then!

Eh, there's only the two really and no-one who's been around any time at all takes em seriously. But some just can't not engage. (Including me, cause I'm really sick of the bloody insults.)

It ruined the rest of my evening's watchings. I know this is almost heresy to utter, but if either David or the show itself hadn't won their awards, I wouldn't have been too broken up. DW has won 2 years running, after all, and DT won last year. The big important one for me was Freema - as a final vindication for all the shit that's been slung at her since she took the role. Now she's the only person related to Who that hasn't won an award they were nominated for, and I can't think of anything really that sucks more, right now.

Bleh. I'll be giving myself an ulcer here if I'm not careful!
