When I found out how much a flat on Manhatten Island costs I couldn't believe my ears.

Yeah, but it's the equivalent of zone 1 innit. Do they have cheap flats in zone 1?

Flat woes in London are usually unfounded anyhoo. People are looking at prices for their *dream* flat,s not *actual* flats :-)
