Siwon felt the blood drain from his face. Shit. His (or rather his and Yoona's) cover had been blown.
"Yes, Sooyoung is my younger sister." He admitted.
Kyuhyun registered this in his head.
"Oh my god hyung, you lied to me. I've been telling you about how I think I'm falling for your sister, and telling you every single thing about her, and you never told me she was your sister? Damn hyung, you must have been laughing behind my back all the time-"
"Please, Kyuhyun. Don't act like this. And in case you haven't known, I've been helping you by encouraging you to woo my sister, you know? Doesn't that mean I approve of you both?" His best friend snapped at him, annoyed at his reaction.
He stared hard at Siwon. He knew how much Siwon loved his little sister and was always overly protective of her, but never would he guess that he would be the one to fall in love with his sister.
Yet somehow, his hyung's words had given him hope.
"I know my reaction just now was outrageous, and I'm sorry hyung. But is there anything else that you are hiding from me, hyung? particularly anything that has to do with MY sister?" Kyuhyun's voice was almost inaudible.
"Well, since the truth is out, I guess I have no choice but to tell you then. Sooyoung isn't just Yoona's aquiantance. She's her best friend."
He received nothing in reply. Kyuhyun had fainted in the bar.

"Oppa! Oppa, are you alright?" Kyuhyun was awoken by his sister's loud, worried voice. Opening his eyes, he squinted his eyes into focus and realised that he was back at home, on his own bed.
However, he gave no reply, and glared fiercely at his sister instead.
"He already knows" Siwon whispered to his fiancee, as Yoona was puzzled to her brother's reaction. Her face immediately filled with horror before she hid the shock from her face with a nonchalant look. Siwon quickly kissed her on the forehead before leaving the two siblings in the room.
"You lied to me, sis, I can't believe this."
"Oppa, I-"
"Did you mean to turn this into some kind of joke? You could have just told me that Sooyoung is Siwon's sister AND your best friend as well, Yoona. Do you take me to be some kind of fool? I've already embarrassed myself because of you. And as a best friend, do you even care about her? She was hurt by that boyfriend of hers again."
Yoona gasped. Kyuhyun only glared at his sister, before turning back to sleep. Yet, he tossed and turned the entire night, unable to sleep as worry filled his head.
Sooyoung is Yoona's best friend... Sooyoung is Yoona's best friend. I've fallen in love with my sister's best friend. She's going to kill me for sure...

He took her in his arms. I love you, Kyuhyun whispered. His lips were less than an inch from hers...
Sooyoung was suddenly awoken from her dream by the hard shaking of her brother.
"Speak" He commanded. "Are you still dating that bastard?"
"Junho has a name, oppa. And I'll be honest - yes, I'm still with him. Don't tell me you woke me up just to ask me this ridiculous question?"
"No, not only so. Guess how I found out? From your dance student Kyuhyun, who happens to be my best friend. You told him, but not me. Do you even treat me as a elder brother, after what happened last time?"
Sooyoung gasped in horror. "WHAT?!"
Kyuhyun betrayed my trust... I can't believe he fooled me, pretending to be nice to me so he could spill my secrets. He's such a jerk!
"You don't have to worry about me, oppa. I can take care of myself."
The siblings continued quarrelling over this, leaving Sooyoung in hot, angry tears and Siwon punching the walls of his room in frustrated anger.

When Kyuhyun went for his next dance lesson, the atmosphere in the studio was extremely different. For one, Sooyoung had refused to look at him, and only spoke when giving him instructions, not even looking at him. For some reason, he ached to see her beautiful face again.
He suddenly came from behind her, cupping her face to look at him.
"Look at me, Sooyoung. What happened? Did he hurt you again?"
She pointed a finger accusingly at him.
"YOU are the problem. I treated you as a good friend, and you lied to me! You knew I was Siwon's sister, and you pretended to get close to me so that you could report to him about my whereabouts! You betrayed me by telling him everything about me and Junho! Cho Kyuhyun, I trusted you so much. You are such a jerk-"
"I didn't! I never knew that you were Siwon's sister, I swear. Yoona never told me! I was equally shocked when i found out! I swear I had no idea, Sooyoung! Ask Yoona or Siwon if you don't believe me!"
"I shall do nothing of the sort. You disgust me, Cho Kyuhyun. We'll end this lesson today. You can leave now. I'll reconsider if I still want to teach you after this."
Her harsh, cruel words pierced his heart, and he felt a jolt of indignation to make things right again between them.
He suddenly spun Sooyoung towards him into his embrace. "I never lie, Sooyoung. Besides, I truly had no idea that you and Siwon were related, nor the fact that you were my sister's best friend! Believe me, Sooyoung. I would never lie, especially to someone like you."
Someone like me? Does he mean that he...
She couldn't deny the fact that he was telling the truth anymore.
Sooyoung finally looked at him in the face. "I believe you" she whispered, "but you'll have to make things up for spilling my secret."
"I will! And I know the perfect way to do it."
"What?"
He suddenly couldn't hold it in any longer. He shyly kissed Sooyoung on the forehead.
"YAH! What was that for?" Sooyoung had immediately blushed beetroot red, her face feeling extremely hot.
"My apology." He pouted at her.
She laughed and ruffled his hair lightly. "We're still friends, right?"
"We'll always be friends." Though his heart had constricted while saying it, he still said these words with sincerity.
I'll always be your friend, Sooyoung. Unless you want me to be more than just a friend...

Unknownst to them, someone had watched the entire scene. Upon watching Kyuhyun kiss Sooyoung's forehead, he had dropped his cigarette on the floor, stomped on it and left, void of any feelings but betrayal and anger.
