-Standing ovation for you, your response, and your icon.- Bravo.

This sounds like a more vulgar version of an Ilpalazzo rant...maybe an Excel version?

Maybe it's the Excel muse showing signs of Ilpalazzo influence? Or perhaps an upgraded brain?

I have a co-worker who says that "without morals" and "technology is ruining the world" crap. I just keep quiet about it. But jesus christ. She also tells me "You'll understand when you have kids."

But, COME ON, It's like some people are totally unaware of history. yeesh.

"You'll understand when you have kids."

A little OT, but have you seen Kino's Journey and/or read Kino no Tabi back when TokyoPop still had it and you could still find it? This quote always reminds me of the war episode/chapter, where the woman who helped start the entire "war" says something like this to justify her actions. When I think on it, a lot of people with children seem to use this quote to justify their own actions. Maybe the author was onto something.

And from the article, the ranter didn't even seem all that concerned about the safety of the teens. They seemed more concerned to me about the reputation of the mom than anything else. Because obviously giving proper sex education to your teen is insiginificant to "OMG, what will they think if they see Mommy shopping in slutty JCPenney'?!" Give me a break, they don't care about the kids. They only care about covering their own asses or want to have to do this thing called parenting.
