I think he's doing pretty well with everything except the economy. That said, the people who are criticizing him probably don't understand what exactly is wrong with the economy and why it can't be fixed in a day. CNN just wants viewership, so they have to try and make up sensations when no big news is happening. They were probably praising him for the same reasons they're bashing him at one point or another. @_@

Economics is admittedly not even close to my strong point, so I can't comment further on that subject. I do find it interesting that the people who criticize him rarely give THEIR ideas, though, which goes back to your point. It's easy to pick apart an idea, but to actually understand and come up with a solution to solve the problem it represents is difficult. And if one thinks THAT is hard...

Very true in regards to CNN. Ah, media. Both our best friend and our worst enemy.
