I'm on the DBA's side here. 0 compile warnings and errors (-WAll), if runtime errors or warnings are generated then figure out why or disable the warning.

I agree. Figure it out. And yet, all I got was his feeling that something could be wrong. I can't fix feelings.

At least he feels bad. I'm bringing on a new engineer and he doesn't understand why I'm telling him to make sure there are zero warnings since we're "just prototyping".
