The kitty seems to be doing fine. She has a lot of energy and is really playful. She's shedding all over the place right now, but Tara assures me that she's just losing her winter coat, because she's living inside right now. She's also had a lot of visitors to keep her entertained during the two weeks she's been here: Tara, Nezhka, Ursula, Brett, my roommate's brother and my roommate's fiance. As I type this, she is playing a game of "jump on the couches and then pounce on random things." She loves batting and chasing things she finds on the floor: coins, her toys, pieces of paper, shrink tubing. A few days ago, I saw her trying to bat and chase a phone book, which was too heavy for her to move more than a couple of inches at a time. This morning, the phone book is wedged most of the way under the couch, so she must have been playing with it when I wasn't around.
