I think it's actually over 400 now, I should find my bill. :P

I'm actually a 30-something. So am I still doing good?

Medical history-wise: I have bipolar disorder. I looked, but couldn't find something that didn't have prescription drug coverage, iirc. Even with their discount (which isn't bad sometimes), it is cheaper to buy from canada. I've never been hospitalized for it. For anything, actually.

Where exactly do I get a broker? I think I grabbed this one from einsurance or something before.

Hey, I thought anybody with any psych diagnosis (even the most minor) would get rejected by insurance companies. Maybe California is different from Illinois?

The whole insurance racket needs to go down in flames. Hopefully, I'll be well out of the country by then.

Two things: one, a month is excellent for an appointment with a new PCP. Around here, you're lucky to get one in 6-8 months, and this is Doctor Central.

Two:

The enrollment form was "list every time you have been in a hospital or had anything vaguely doctoral"... (or you'll deny claims later? like I want to go look up all this crap when you have electronic records of it anyway?)

Yes. They will do exactly that. There's even an industry term for it -- "rescission" -- and they'll go out of their way to get you: http://articles.latimes.com/2009/jun/17/business/fi-rescind17
