I hear McDonald's in Australia are making Angus burgers.

You could call yourself Grand Angus, which is a bit pompous or better yet Mighty Angus. I suppose it depends on whether you're a meat lovers delight or maybe a little bit of a gourmet salad boy.

As for your name I'm lovin' it.

**rolls eyes**

You were the first to come out with the Maccas reference :-)

Frankly, I prefer "Grand Angus". I can do pompous :-)

Well the Mc Donald's Angus burgers are very popular in the States already. So you're already famous here!

I wouldn't be so sure that people won't screw up your name. People still screw up my name and go along the lines of 'Darren', 'Alan' or (and I hate to think of this one) 'Adam'.

I mean is it really that hard a concept to get the notion of saying an A with 'ron' on the end of it?

Lord forbid you could end up getting called 'Agnes'...I don't think you have quite reached the age where you look like am 80 year old woman with lether skin and a very wrinkled face. I think you should stick with Gus and know that if people don't know how to spell it or pronounce it, it probably means you are superir to them in every imaginable way possible! lol

I think people are just inherently dumb.

When speaking to people on the phone for work stuff they often here Dan instead of Ben. Gah! but that could be due to bad diction and the good ol' Aussie drawl.
