I don't understand not desiring what you want. Does that mean you just want things, you don't desire them? That desire is like want on steroids? ? ?
I like Prof. Tootsie. You probably made her day. I'm petty and gossipy, too, so I can just imagine how I'd react to your statement if I were her. I'd be smiling all day long.
Sucks about the internship. I hope you can get one for the spring - a good one, too. No coffee fetching and errand running. I think it's funny how the studio owner told the intern to get a MBA. Sounds like an ultracompetitive field.
I like how I can see your entry as I comment on it. On OD, I'd spend a long time writing my notes to you because there was always something I knew I forgot and wanted to comment on, and so I'd back out of the note field and read the entry AGAIN.
Heh heh, I loved this note. I am sure Prof. Tootsie is sitting at her desk right now, displaying a wry little smile on her lips, savoring the little morsel of self-satisfaction that I handed her this morning on a silver platter. Or something like that ;)
Hey!! Great to see you here! I'm liking the LJ quietness too.
Cute Prof. Tootsie story. I can't wait until my higher-level courses next semester when I can get to know my professors well enough to look for a mentor. Right now I'm in huge classes where you're just a face in the crowd. Among the "kids", heh.
