Okay, yes, I like this comparison. I mean, you could leave a note for whoever left the anonymous one saying thanks but you'd have to assume they came back to look for it and...

...yes, I think I definitely agree that the spirit of the meme is to be a secret love elf leaving things in the dark and not looking for anything in return.

I think, maybe doing a blanket thanks on your journal would follow the spirit of the thing, and be polite. You know, "Thanks to everyone, you brightened my LIFE, and now for something completely different..."

Ok so at 2am I can say that's the first use of the phrase of "secret love elf" I have ever seen. I appreciate it to a degree, as it did put some weird LotR appreciating smile on my face. Elves are great at the love thing, as long as you're not a human, then you sol. Ok 2am, definately need to stop typing stuff.

You're quite welcome. Don't feel bad, I walked away with elves on my brain, and love. Which definately ended up in awkward images. Elves shouldn't do such things to one another. Though I will say....okay I think I'll actually not say that. That's a little too nerdy and perverted. Hmmmm...so have you an idea who I am at this point? I noticed I didn't include my name. :P
