Also, remembered the other point about Torchwood. Mainly, fandoms seem to really love shows where the characters create their families. Which makes sense, since family is a created family. And with Torchwood, they haven't gotten to the family stage, and there's no guarantee that they will. (God I want the next season now! I wanna know what happens next!!)
