yuzuru hanyu is so flawless!

i know, i know, i'm Canadian, and i am disappointed that Patrick Chan lost (i had really, really, really wanted for him to win gold), but OMG Yuzuru Hanyu is just so beautiful, and his skate was just fantastic. i still can't get over how super cute he is.

TBQH this has been THE worst Games ever for corruption and cheating and incompetence, and just everything. I am just disgusted with it and annoyed with G for even bothering to watch it. Never mind disgusted with each and every athlete who has been pulling shit and the officials letting them get away with it. This is ridiculous and I hope the IOC investigates, but I won't hold my breath.

Tsuki, they're in Russia. what did you expect? i mean, c'mon. it's the Russians. do you want to know what the gold medalist for women's figure skating said in one of the interviews? "this means i'll be here tomorrow." my friends and i were like, "well, that doesn't sound ominous." and one of my guyfriends was like, "what did she mean by that? like, would she have been shot if she hadn't won?"

but, Yuzuru Hanyu! i'm sorry, but he's so cute. i even jokingly (maybe not) told my brother, "i want Patrick Chan to win gold, but i want Yuzuru Hanyu to win silver because he's cute." my brother gave me that kind of look where it was like, "o~kay. i don't know you."

I get that, but it's not just Russians doing it, and not just in figure skating. Almost every sport in this Games has been hit with one sort of controversy or other, and it's just ridiculous. Where do they get these officials? (they're supposed to be international, not just Russians...) It's sad.

And if you believe the reports from NK, they DO get shot (or worse) if they lose/don't medal. I wonder why any of them even bother in that case. *sighs and shrugs*

He is adorable and very cute. I haven't seen him in action, just photos, but he is very easy on the eyes and from what I've heard, very sweet and personable. (dammit. I'm in the wrong country and the wrong age LOL Come to oneesan, baby! :D )
