The mobile emiter allows him to go anywhere, because he normally wouldnt since he's a hologram and all. And he got it from the future! Man, your guys' Voyager knowledge sucks!
oh. i mean, i knew that's what the moble emitter was for. i enterpreted the question wrong. i thought you were asking his name, or some chang that occured after he got the emitter, or something. and now that i re-read it, i feel stupid for misunderstanding ^^;
although i didn't know he got it from the future.
i kinda remember one episode where a monster attacked (on some alien planet), and he held it back by making it attack him, which it couldn't do because he was a hologram~ but then it hit his mobile emitter, and was almost destroyed. or something along those lines anyway~
