I'm looking forward to it. I was a huge fan of Dr. Who as a kid, so I wasn't expecting much (how often can something compete with a childhood memory?), but I like the new show A LOT.

*quiet squee* I loved this! Such a quiet little domestic scene, with some serious insight into the Doctor. A touch of melancholy in his mention of sparks burning out that totally makes sense in terms of the Doctor's love of Earth as a whole and his companions in particular.
