I feel so lethargic and all I want is chocolate. Good chocolate. Maybe Dove. And I want to watch a good movie and do my laundry and take a nice, long bubble bath.

I take back almost everything that I said in my last entry. I was just so frustrated and I didn't believe in myself. I don't want to be a psych major...I actually think I can pick myself up again and continue with my neuro major. It started snowing a little while ago! I can't believe it...it's only October...but regardless, I felt this sudden burst of good energy when it started to snow. Yay! :)

Ahh! These weeks go by so fast. I guess the good side to that is Friday...I can't wait. And then of course, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be entirely devoted to Genetics, Psych, my paper, and flute (in that order of importance). I have to get a lab done, so I'll update more over the weekend.

Today was the first "official" day of stress for the year. I had my first exam--Genetics--and needless to say, it sucked. I felt so confident last night when I was studying that I expected this exam to be a breeze, but I had gotten there a few minutes late, and time being so precious during a science exam, I was so pressured. You know, going home was actually kinda refreshing. I was getting so depressed in Rochester (for no reason), but I feel great after having spent some time away from here. So many mixed emotions...my studying is getting intensly piled up and I've got RA things I have to get done, I have to keep up with my flute, worry about this and that...but on the bright side, I'm happy with my classes. They're not as bad as 1st semester and I'm starting to settle in. I'm going home this weekend to get quite a bit of studying done ( Read more... )

I feel really good about my classes this semester. I'm taking Neuroscience 201, Genetics 198, Calc 161, Psych of Gender 267, 4 credit lessons at Eastman, and 1 credit Wind Symphony. Yay! I know it sucks that I'm retaking Calc with all these little freshmen, but I really think it's a good idea. I'm hoping I'll get an A so I can replace my grade ( Read more... )
