I opened a dreamwidth account. Mostly it is just a mirror of LJ, but I figured I would grab my name in case there is a mass exodus. Still plan on using LJ primarily for now.

How does one go about opening a dreamwidth account? I expect the dreamwidth homepage would explain it, if I could ever get to it (I've tried on three separate occasions, and it just says "loading" forever, with no explanation or error page).

Invite code or paid subscription. I bought a few months so I could reserve my name without waiting for an invite. I do not have any invite codes yet to give.
