I have not posted in a while, mostly because I have been extraordinarily lazy lately. I have a few (dozen) Real PostsTM to make, but this is not one of them

I have ato say, 20 out of 26 as Single Malt shows a refined taste.

Is each from a different distillery?

I do not know if my taste is particularly refined, a goodly number of those are simply bottles that I saw at the liquor store, realized I had never tried, and bought on a whim.

14 distilleries are represented: Balvenie, Benromach, Cragganmore, Dallas Dhu, Dalwhinnie, Glenkinchie, Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Glenmorangie, Lagavulin, Macallan, Oban, Speyside, and Talisker.

About half of those bottles only have two or three pours remaining in them, so I expect the number to drop drastically in the next few weeks.

Glenfiddich is good, as is Lagavulin and Speyside. Mmmm. I miss being able to have a nip every now and again. Grr.

I have 4 bottles in the cupboard, one in the freezer, and a mostly-empty bottle of port so I guess that counts as 5. I am so not into alcohol. Your stock impressed me, and also makes me look at you funny. In a good way.

I do hope to see you at Arisia, at least to say hi... looking forward to whatever Real PostsTM you write.

Heh. My tastes are varied enough that I have to keep a fairly well-stocked bar. I get too frustrated when I am missing something to make whatever it is I want Right Now. :)
