My kid has a problem with perfectionism.  He gets really upset when a drawing or craft or something he's making doesn't quite go right. I try to tell him that making mistakes is how we learn things. Trial and error, ya know? I tell him you have to mess up a few times until you learn how to do it right.

My bf says Superman dying was probably a bad mistake, but he made up for it by coming back to life. LOL Not the best example, I know. :/

You should search through most of Marvel (Spiderman, X-Men, etc), because most of the storylines behind their characters involve some sort of humanity or fault, unlike DC who like the perfect superhuman heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman.

Also: Hulk's temper problem is what causes him to undergo the whole Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde transormation into the Hulk. Anger management issues and all.

Thanks. Yeah, Superman... invented by two Jewish kids, yet oddly Christ-like and remeniscent of der Ubermenschen.

I spent a great deal of my youth absorbed in the Marvel Universe. I really should be coming up with these on my own... but then I spent several more years engaged in "youthful indisrections" afterwords... Memory = bad.

I started reading comics at the ripe age of like 25, so 2 years ago. ;) I haven't read most of the stuff others have, and some of what I went for was new revivals of old school stuff like Transformers and Voltron. So when it comes to superheroes, I got nothing.
