It's kind of boring, but I have to describe my background in order to establish this experiment's starting point.

if I am not mistaken TOEFL 100 is about 7.5 IELTS? Well, yes, I think you can do that, just some practice is needed.

Not exatly, I've found several comparison tables for IELTS and TOEFL. 100 on TOEFL iBT is equal to 7 on IELTS and it is not fair, because TOEFL is much more difficult. For example, my friend passed her IELTS recently, she got 9 on reading, 8.5 on listening, 6 on speaking and 6 on writing, and her band score is 7.5 which is considered as a relatively high level. However it is obvious that it is not a good level for graduate student.
Even by means of mathematics 100 iBT should be equal at least to 7.5 or higher.
