Okay, so I started talking about plans for this weekend like a month ago, then immediately flaked out and failed to actually plan and invite folks. So, let's see if I can make anything work last-second ( Read more... )

Saturday for sure, both time slots. Sunday only if Kylie is willing to come and play which I will ask her but doubt she would be interested as a gut feeling.

And so do you have my core rules book or not? I got that impression from you with "Jodi not bringing the books" last night. If not, what books does Jodi have that I should be receiving??? Also, when they come do come/I get them, can I do the feats for Kaddock or should I wait for weird caveats that you want to apply to the Runelords campaign?

I will have your Core Rules book as of tomorrow night. Jodi picked them up from her distributor, but is being a stickler for the street date. I'll pick it up at gaming tomorrow night, and if you'd like to come over Friday, it's all yours.

It's tough to talk about converting Kaddock without the book in front of us, but I don't anticipate it being difficult.

Well... having browsed a copy at an undisclosed location, I think the only real issue will be in figuring out the feats. I'm totally making an Arcane Archer at some point but Kaddock is completely and unequivocably barred from that path so it will have to be a Society character.

PS> That book is fucking TOME

I considered, but asking a simple question was faster. If you replied with the appropriate answer(s), then I would have been efficient!

My "in brief" line is really the best I can do in brief. Organized play is a type of role-playing that revolves around short one-off adventures, designed largely for play at gaming conventions.

There are lots of fiddly little details we could get into, but the question is mostly "who wants to come over and whack some orcs for their pocket change this weekend?"
