Michael Gira of Swans - Mmhmm. I'm gonna need a support group for my love of this guy. It's all a bit much. But really, he's amazing. I love him as a person too. Badass and extremely down to earth.
Sainkho Namtchylak - Can't express how much I love this woman either. Despite tradition that says women cannot learn throat singing, she did it anyway, and is possibly one of the most interesting and dynamic singers on the planet earth.
Marlene Dietrich Just love her. Utterly brooding. *brain melt*
Dieter "Otze" Ehrlich of SchleimKeim - Don't ask me why, this guy just tickles my fancy--and he can switch it up. Of course I prefer his raspier style, but... haha Best punk band everrrr. The commie popo kept trying to throw them in jail for playing "western music".
Attila Csihar - Guy's been in a looot of projects, and always seems to offer something different. I believe we used to classify his type of vocals as 'inhuman' in the metal world. haha Oh, and I love that Hungarian accent. I don't listen to much metal anymore, but am coming around to post- and maybe industrial black metal. Anyway.
Janis Joplin I honestly have never listened to her before this, but I'll have to throw it in because I thought she was cool. Never heard anything like her... that was popular anyway. haha
