Unnesessary excitement!!!

So today my mom presented me with my really Really early Christmas present - a new laptop. I somehow broke the screen on my old, enormously heavy one while transporting it to Helena with me. No, no. I didn't break it like a normal person would, with the screen cracking and all. When I broke it, the screen simply lost all it's brightness

laptop computers have a set of 2 lightbulbs behind them... almost like the long tube lights that you use in kitchens and stuff...
prehaps they burnt out.

sometimes one will burnd out and the other will not... so only half of the screen lights up.
its odd.
