Apparently, the Mormon Church has realized that discriminating against gay people for living places and jobs is, like, wrong.  And stuff.

What I love is the article about this little... 'revelation' of theirs that I read about on BBC.com stressed that this change of heart of theirs was purely a reaction to 'oh, wow, everyone is clearly not hating as much on teh gays as much as we are and we're looking like bad guys, maybe we should rethink a little...?'. Nice Christian values there, Mormons.

Ha! Yes. I also read a take on the press conference by an ex-Mormon, who offered a long interpretation, for non-Mormons that I found interesting. According to her, the goal of their press conference was to advocate for LGBT rights in theory, but in reality so they could specifically include a religious exception. I went back and checked, and yup, everything they say does sneakily include a religious exception, so that people don't have to sell goods or even medical services to gay folk. Classy!
