I'm adamant that they retained their black-metalness to this day, i.e. the attitude in the way they play, and those "black'n'roll" riffs Satyr always wrote so well - they've always had that and still do. I guess that's part of the "flavor" I was talking about in my post. BUT that being said they have definitely done everything possible to alienate themselves from BM stereotypes (not to mention...fans). My still-being-held-hostage letter to you, I should add, which by the way I am going to mail immediately (seems I keep saying that), includes a small number of my recommendations for someone of excellent taste who is veering off the gory road of death metal and into the dark (and often comical) forest of black metal! I'm just getting cheesy now. I better go to the post office.
