Please never and never and never discuss my personal life with my students. Frankly, it is none of their damn business and I can only fucking hope that you have the sense to understand that the children have no right to my personal life, past and present. However as a person and adult I have a right to privacy and professionalism. On a parting note ( Read more... )

I don't think I was ahead of you in school (but I do have a degree now). You were just young for our class, right? At any rate, I am an SLC at the Academy now. Its a fun and taxing job, but old acquaintances and friends(?) of mine keep trying to befriend/date/molest the kids. Its classy. Makes me look really professional.

Ball State has changed aesthetically and administratively but that really doesn't mean much has changed.

I don't regret going there, but, aside from the crazy relationship I had with sunny during my time there, that place ( ... )

oh, the reason I asked if you were ahead of me was that I thought all these entries were about being an RA at ball state, and I was like "damn, she's still there?" but now it all makes sense! you definitely must have a service/counseling gene within you.
