Rob’s cremation was yesterday. Out at Mortonhall Cemetery in howling wind and rain, with occasional sunshine - a good spread of weather to echo the turbulence of the day. I’m always pleased when it rains on a funeral - years of growing up with tangi I guess.

The service itself was very small -family and close friends, and just 40 minutes long.

I'm glad you feel ok..you mentioned the distraction of having the kittens fannying around...I have to say having my wee cousins around after my Mum passed away (I know its slightly different) it made me feel so much better. Its so good to have something or someone around thats so innocent.
I'm so sorry about your friend Rob, I wish these things didn't happen to nice people, but unfortunatly they do!
Anyhoo, see you at some sort of secret drumming nonsense soon ;)
