Mm, yes, this is so sweet and so lovely, it made me smile when I read it. I just love the thought of these two being together, and I can picture this scene so perfectly, it's simply beautiful.

I love how you've written them being so playful and snarky with each other, that's just so refreshing, and I think you've got them both spot on. I can see David being all protective and taking such good care of John, and John being like, don't worry, David, I'm fine on my own.

Thanks so much for posting this here on LJ, kind sir, you did a magnificent job with this, and I love it to bits, it's brilliant! I forgot to add, it's gone into my memories here, so I can enjoy it again. *hugs*

I have read Simm/Glenister fic before, but I must admit that this is a terribly obvious pairing... and nicely done, too! Very sweet! I like the flashes of temper from John, and the impervious optimism from David! He seems like he would be that way...

You are going to have a good laugh at me. I totally forgot that John Simm plays Bernard Sumner in 24 Hour Party People. It was on cable at the beginning of the week and I had to watch it, even though I had to wake up at 6:00 AM! LOL!
