Road to Perdition

I rewatched Road to Perdition today for the first time in well over a decade. It's a gangster film about fathers and sons. It's visually stunning, probably in part because it's based on a graphic novel. There was a lot I had forgotten, but unfortunately I already knew all the major twists and turns. I remember seeing it and think of it as The Godfather with Irish Americans.

I've never seen The Godfather. From what I hear it is probably better than Road to Perdition.

I know The Godfather is called one of the greatest movies of all time, but I couldn't really get into it when I watched it long ago on TV. Best of its genre, probably a definite yes.
