Well, since he's a member of a heretical sect that turned its back on the Vicar of Christ, and left the true Church, he in no position to talk.

Well, in my opinion and that of many psychiatrists, people who have visions and hear voices belong in a closed ward and should be kept there lest they start the very fires they envisioned.

Bastard!

More so since part of the fires were started by people, not gods. Sheesh!

I'm glad to hear you're ok and far off. *hugs*

Truly.

I cannot send the Munkieman on the school trip, as it is beyond means & meaning. So... I intend to bring him to your city, we will do the educational things, some fun things & was hoping we could visit with you too.

I shall most certainly keep you in the loop & look forward to visiting.

Well, isn't that sweet? You've got your own Jerry Falwell.

Re: 9/11/2001:

"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say "'you helped this happen.'"

I hear someone's calling it "terrorism", too. Fucking opportunists.

Yeah - a lot of the fires have been deliberately lit, so there is some justification in calling it domestic terrorism.

If they get caught, and apparently the cops have some good strong leads, they will be tried as murderers.

I've been taking a lot of poli-sci, including an entire class on terrorism, and it's a sore spot for me, so please bear with me, and forgive me. "Terrorism" is destruction of life, quality of life, or property, done with the goal of effecting social change, usually political and usually coercive.

These fires are vandalism, arson, and, now, MURDER. I am very angry about them. They are crimes that deserve punishment to the full extent of the law. But they aren't terrorism. If we hear later that the perps were members of a known terrorist group, or that there has been communication of political demands or goals, such an assessment may be more accurate.

Governments have begun using the term to describe an ever-increasing list of crime methods, which is a misuse of the concept designed to extend their powers past the lawful bounds ( ... )

Nothing requiring forgiving.

Thank you for explaining from what point of view you were coming from. I greatly appreciate it and apologise for not understanding.
