Too true... we limit ourselves greatly. I gave up writing in high school because I was embarrassed when the teacher used to always read my stuff to the class...

that made me "hm"...the way im interpretating that..(and if im wrong don't tell me) is we all are feel somewhat superior then everyone but in a non arrogant way. but this makes us feel bad so we then make ourselves sub-concsiously inferior for other peoples sake.
this makes sense to me.
like i said, if thats totally not the point, which is most probable, dont tell me. im happy with my conclusion hehe
