Garbage Bin Of Doom

So my sister found out about this glitch in Halo3 where, in one particular part of a very specific level (The Storm, for those wondering, when you get to the part with the Scarab) it's possible to make one of the garbage can's fly if you have two players.

I was out when she started so at first it was all her getting it set up but then I returned and came to my bedroom to see her playing H3. At first I think nothing of it, I don't pay any attention to her but instead go on the internet to read some fanfiction, talk to friends, check things that need to be checked.

But then I see her making - re: trying to make - Master Chief and Arbiter jump around inside something. Without much luck. So I turn around (my television - and subsequently all my video game systems - are at one end of my bed while my computer sits on my desk at the other) and ask her what she's doing.

"Trying to make this damn thing fly."

Needless to say my expression was very close to this: o.O?

So I grab a controller and start mashing the... A button I believe. After a few minutes of making the can move around we get it stuck in a corner, upside down, and no amount of jumping is making it fall back over.

So I make Master Chief kill Arbiter so that my sister will respawn and be able to kill me with a grenade. Which she used up flipping the dumpster over. Only somehow Master Chief glitches mid-jump and gets stuck with a twitchy leg that doesn't let Arbiter respawn.

And thus the hero of the Halo Universe is defeated by not a gun, nor a fall, nor some form of explosion. No, he was defeated by a garbage can.

Maybe it was an evil one?

random stuff, halo
