i found this list of the 100 greatest guitarists from the rolling stone magazine, but i think that theyre totally wrong with some of them, eddie van halen is #70, randy rhoads is #85, and angus young is #96, but they put kurt cobain as number 12 which makes absoulutly no sense at all because they all kick kurts ass at playing the guitar

I remember being really irritatated by that list when I first saw it a year or two ago because I was all Led Zeppelin obsessed and JIMMY PAGE IS ONLY 9!, but since I've looked at it again, it's not so bad. I appreciate that they put people like George Harrison and Stephen Stills, who wouldn't automatically come to mind when one thinks of great guitar players, pretty high up on the list. I think they could do a little editing and some shifting around of certain people, though.

yeah, i also figured out that tony iommi, the guitarist from black sabbath, he was a lefty also, and he was also the fill in for jethro tulls guitarist on the rock and roll circus because shortly before the rnr circus, their jethros guitarist quit
