Preview of new GLEE fic/oneshot
Okay so this has been driving me insane. The format, to me, has not worked and i've re-written it three times. I need feedback.
In the moment between the end notes of the song and everyone catching their breath, Quinn runs out of the auditorium feeling rather overwhelmed, bordering on hyperventilation. It wasn’t so much the fact that everyone was looking at her while singing that has her bee lining for the bathrooms - the looks and stares are something she’ll have to get used to now that her pregnancy is out. What has her running into the middle stall and slamming the door shut behind her is the fact that the song was for her. Everyone was singing to her… and she couldn’t handle it. She has tortured majority of the Glee Clubbers for four and a half years and there they were, singing to her. Telling her in song that they would be there for her no matter what, and she doesn’t understand why. She slides down the wall of the stall as fresh tears well in her eyes and she hugs her knees to her chest as she starts to sob for more than one reason.
