Watched Brick. I don't know if I thought the noir genre was forced in this instance. Something about the movie made it feel too contrived. But I enjoyed it anyway. Edward Fairfax Rochester, esq. and Byronic hero. Scrumptious. I actually liked his scarred up face. Man, that was a really great production by Masterpiece Theatre. Yep. Yummy Udon noodles. Weird to see Andy at the bookstore reading. I did notice that the guys at Borders outnumbered the women shoppers by about 6 to one and yet I didn't notice one attractive guy there (no offense to Andy). We have never had so many snow days in a row. I'm glad to be back at work (there is sooooooo much to do here). My grant orders finally all arrived today. Four large boxes and two small. Short holiday already over. Got to spend time with brother and family, cousin from Texas, and house full of crazy sisters. Bad enough that one sister is crazy. My sister, the crazy one, is really eating away at my family. She does all this passive agressive control you can't see my kids nonsense all the time.
