nevermind. I'm thinking dark would definitely be interesting. most people are voting for red though.

nah, just getting a general opinion before I make the final decision. Not like "oh man, it's tied, let me ask someone on the street before I head to walgreens."

I think I'm going to go with red since it's the first time I've done it...and also Tyler's point is a big concern. blah.

The problem with going dark is that when you hair grows out the roots would show a completely different color, i.e high contrast, while going with red would give a more even fade at the roots.

i think i agree with the red, since you're a hair color virgin and want to take the safe route, although i think you could pull off dark as well...you know, that whole thing is in. not sure if that's a turn off or not
