Gees long time no hear!! I don't usually check this thing much, but I'm going to be making a real effort of it from now on cos I'm going to Thailand in three weeks and this is where I'll be putting up all my stories.
So you broke it off with Andrew -- at least u've got no deadweights to worry about when you go overseas. I'm still with Mike (unhealthy as it became) but he's coming to thailand with which will be better hopefully.
So you wanna teach English -- that totally rocks man, cos I wanna teach as well!! I just finished getting a TESOL Cert which hopefully will come in handy.
Heard that you got in contact with Paula yonkers ago -- not sure if you guys actually caught up though... She tends to be a bit of a piker these days, but nothing new there I guess.
We should catch up sometime for a coffee before I go and swap funny stories -- or keep in touch on this thing at least. Good to hear from you, I miss our chats. Take care.

I did my TESOL cert with Teach International and they have an in class session of approx five days (three in the evenings and two full days) and then about 60 hours of online work (which is not really gonna be 60 hours, I prolly did mine in like 20). They cost $1700 but the teachers there are extremely qualified, and you get to surf their site for advice and support for your lifetime. You can find them on www.teachinternational.com and if you want me to give you my user name and password so you can access some of the reading to see what it's like then let me know
