The conversation with Cain had worried him; not that there was much that didn’t worry him these days. But he and Cain had not completely reconciled since his return, and for Cain to insist on speaking with him so urgently was unnerving.
The lanky silver-haired man slipped his communicator back into his pocket, put away the silver wear he’d been polishing, and swiftly paced down the hall in search of his master.
