"Hoe?" Sakura shreaked, as she saw the person shoot out the front door of the apartment complex and land face first on the ground. "Are you alright?" she asked, gliding forwad with ease and stopping in front of the man. Rollerblading to school every day for years had its advantages, thought she never thought she'd need the skill when not wearing any form of skates.
"No I'm not!" Ken snapped, his irritation flaring. He tried to push himself up, but his hand slipped out from under him. He landed back on his face, which only made him even more upset. "What the hell is going on?!"
Sakura backed away a little when he snapped, but she couldn't exactly leave him there, sprawled on the ground. "Let me help you." she carefully hooked her arms under his armpits and heaved him up, the entire time being very careful about not letting them slide. She was alright as long as she kept her feet at this particular angle.
"The world turned slippery." she sighed, letting go, but still keeping a decent distance in case he fell again and needed another hand up.
Ken accepted the help, but he wasn't too happy about it. She was only a girl. No danger there. He gave her a warm smile, the anger and irritation gone from his face. "Thanks. This place keeps getting more and more annoying." While he knew that eventually he'd have to figure out how to get around like this, he remained right where he was for the time being so he wouldn't fall.
