yesterday i went to nacodogches for the day with the parents and visited stephen f. austin. apparently going to colorado for college is out of the question now, though i'm still putting up a fight. my parents want me to go here:
i go to school in a town that is pretty much the same, only in Waco you can -dine -movies (1 theatre) -Common Grounds (the only coffee shop in town) -no lakes, but we have a zoo
even still, i think i'm having a blast up here. small towns can be deceptive. they always seem boring, but trust me, there will be so much fun stuff to do on campus -capture the flag -campus golf -all kinds of festivals -pep rallys -dances, and mixers every other night -and much, much more!
never under-estimate a small town with a college in it.
i'm confident you'll have fun wherever u go! but i am sorry u can't go to colorodo. your heart seemed set on it.
awww, i'm sad for you. i know how awesome colorado is, but now, we can be friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i'm really happy about that. I love you ALOT. And was torn into at the thought of you being so far away. <3 <3 forever. :) I'll be your entertainment!! <3!!
haha ok.. and its so true. 4 more years near each other will be glorious before we set off and i travel the world teaching for my life (andddd im being serious hah) but itll be great, mmmhm
If you get to come visit during spring break, i'm going to kidnap you and not let you leave. Well, you won't want to anyway b/c it's like freaking elf paradise up here. There is even an apartment complex (or neighborhood, can't remember) called Rivendell!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY! SHEEEESH! :)
im pretty much right where you are, at least in the whole deciding of colleges thing. i had my heart set on going to seattle, but was denied by the parents, and so now i get to decide between a handful of conservative christian colleges spread throughout texas. and i know that wherever i land will be for a reason, it's just a hard thing to swallow. so i totally understand what you're going through, which makes it even easier for me to say sorrrrrrrrrrry erin! and small towns don't have much "to do", but the people who you're with will definitely have more of an impact on your life than what you're doing with them, so keep that in mind? :]
