You need to watch the movie, though, and there has been talk about more mini-series type movies, but with the stars scattered all over, I doubt it seriously.
Of COURSE I have been listening to you. That's why we put it down as the first thing we got from Netflix. All I needed was a good 10 hours of immobility to force me into actually -watching- it. And now I'm hooked.
Same thing happend with Grey's Anatomy. And I have Lost as the next thing on Netflix after Firefly. :D
Because the guy who was its big proponent at FOX left and they proceded to dick the show around. Changed timeslots, showed the episodes out of order, etc. etc. That spells certain death to a new show that is only ever going to appeal to a niche market.
Not Jayne. I must have my Jayne. Jayne is neccessary. So's Mal. Oh dear, And Wash (don't get me started on Serenity) and Zoe and River and....OK I need to really think about this. But Jayne stays. No questions there.
DEFINITELY Jayne. And Mal. My hubby and I were talking about this. Simon could go, maybe. And I could probably live without Zoe. I think. I'm not entirely sure though. ARGH! Just bring it back already, dammit. :p

Makes me very sad, too.

But you're right. It's awesome. :)

I hate it when that happens.

I think they should try again. :D Who do you think the cast could do without if absolutely necessary?
