has anyone but me noticed that jared left the band without an announcement? he's gone from the list of band members on the myspace and his solo project's myspace (sparrow house) says he's not making much music anymore.

THIS IS UPSETTING BECAUSE HE'S MY FAVORITE.

No, I definitely noticed and was wondering about that myself. He announced it on his Twitter back in March, and it seems to have been amicable... (though Ramesh's answer to the question about Jared in this impromptu e-mail interview struck me as... curt, but you know, textual media can't convey tone and all that). Still, the lack of any kind of official announcement from the band is puzzling. Oh well. It's just something that happens, I guess.

Indeed he does. From the times I've browsed through he's said some very fond things about Voxtrot, so. I'm inclined to think the extremely-dry-humour thing is certainly a possibility. In the end there's no way of knowing, really, so I shouldn't speculate too much about it. I'll miss him, anyway!
